Greensburg City Council adopts LEED Plantinum resolution for City owned buildings.
As of December 17, 2007, Greensburg has officially become the first city to adopt a resolution for city owned buildings to be built to the LEED Platinum level. This is another significant step in the town becoming a progressive model green American city. Congratulations Greensburg!
(a note about LEED: This acronym stands for "Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design". The term was coined by the U.S. Green Building Council and is a nationally-recognized rating system for the design, construction, and operation of high performance green buildings.)Last updated on January 28, 2008 by Administrator
