At the outset of the Anniversary Weekend, on May2, Troy Sherman and Chevon Martin of the Evolve company made the 15-hour drive from Phoenix with a van load of water-saving showerheads to share with the community. They set up a mini-shower display unit in the GreenTown office to demonstrate to residents just how beautifully their product works. The showerhead saves water in two ways. It features a special low-flow technology that in no way detracts from the comfort level of the water pressure. And it offers a solution to the problem of water running down the drain while people go do other things while waiting for their shower to heat up. A sensor detects when water has reached optimum shower temperature, and slows it to a trickle until a lever is pulled to resume full strength. These features combined save a LOT of water. Read more about this awesome technology at here.
Troy is VP of Sales and Marketing, and Chevon is Customer Sales Representative. Not only did they make the long drive to Greensburg and demonstrate the Evolve unit for three days during the Anniversary Weekend, but they acted as GreenTown support staff during their stay: they greeted visitors, hauled boxes, helped us set up for the supper, and pitched in to do pretty much anything that needed doing. They are lovely, generous, and very modest people and we are exceedingly grateful to have them as part of the GreenTown family. Troy wants to make sure that every resident who wants one gets outfitted with the water-saving showerhead.
