In honor of Earth Day and of  the first anniversary of the storm that catalyzed the rebuilding and reimagining of the town of Greensburg, we have launched our efforts to fund the Green Initiative in Greensburg. Through this campaign we aim to show that " a million small things make for big change". This fund raiser will provide a boost to realize the ambitious vision of Greensburg and simultaneously illustrate the concept that little changes by a lot of people will attain the global changes we seek.

The funding will be used for these projects:

* to build the innovative Chain of Demonstration Homes and Eco-Lodging

* to continue the technical support for homes, businesses and individuals to go as green as they can

* to install Education Stations in the participating buildings and sites that are bringing the Greensburg's "living laboratory" concept to life

*  to develop a capital campaign to help fund projects like the school and the  city and county buildings in town

* to support the operating expenses of the nonprofit organization that is GreenTown
