The truth is that green building technology has now been around a while. Like computers, most of this technology has advanced rapidly in a very short period of time. And green design can be as simple as correct orientation towards the sun, overhangs that keep out the summer sun, using energy efficient appliances, toilets that use less water per flush and non-toxic paints and household cleaners.
