Director of Real Estate for KwikShop, Ed Soper, was in town recently to meet with GreenTown, NREL and MVP Architecture to discuss options for the rebuild of the grocery store portion of the hybrid KwikShop/Dillons store. (KwikShop and Dillons are owned by parent company Kroger.) Many elements of green design were proposed and discussed, and the parties are working together to determine which of those features will be integrated into this new store. Ed made it clear that Kroger wants this building to be a model of efficient, sustainable design.
